Video controllers shipped on Atari 16/32 bits computers have known several evolutions:
- ST Shifter
- STe Shifter
- TT Shifter
- Falcon Videl
Some of these chips are accompanied by a BLiTTER chip that enables faster data transferts with logical operations, hence faster graphics.
